Author’s wine with a unique personality that is only made in exceptional vintages from Ribera del Duero. Centenary vineyards of the Tempranillo variety are chosen for its production, so its production is very limited and subject to obtaining the necessary quality. The time in new oak barrels aged in French forests depends solely on the criteria of the winemaker.
Rivendel Crianza has 100% Tempranillo grapes from vineyards of approximately 30 years of average age, from land suitable for obtaining primary nuances (fruit). Together with its subsequent aging in barrels, it manages to display a wide range of complex and deep nuances that do not prevent the enjoyment of a tasty wine with a long drink. Ideal for regular consumption and informal dinners.
The “Roble” Ribera de Duero wines are young with a slight aging in the barrel, which in the case of Rivendell, lasts up to 5 months. American oak and European center make up the vanilla sensations that will later appear in the wine, but respecting the main thing about a young wine: its fruity character. Great wine for drinking or chatting. Ideal for day to day.
Vástago is the son and is the first stem of a vine and represents my ideal wine blend of my grape, the Tempranillo converted into Tinta de Toro in the area, with small touches of Garnacha and Petit Verdot that resist elegance and smoothness to the hands of my friend Angel Luis, who understood what I wanted.
Within the wonderful and complex world of the Albariño grape of Rías Baixas, ELAS is a wine with more than 3 months of aging on lees with the typical personality of these exclusive Galician wines from smallholdings. With an acidity below normal for this variety, we will find a perfume on the nose, nothing violent but very subtle and changeable.
Rivendel ORGANIC VERDEJO
ITS PARTICULAR ELABORATION
At the discretion of Angel Luis, Technical Director, 40% of the grapes spontaneously ferment in 500-litre French oak barrels and remain on their lees for 6 months. The remaining 60%, ferments in a stainless-steel tank as well and remains with the fine lees for 6 months.
The final coupage offers the typical freshness of Rueda wines together with a slight touch of wood that adds complexity on the palate that differentiates it from traditional wines.
Wine with great personality, like its label, which allows us to enjoy the well-known variety called Verdejo. Abundant flowers on the nose and fresh segment fruit on the palate, evoke those natural juices that, together with the alcohol from fermentation, give it great unctuousness and persistence. He came at all times, both accompanied by food and to savor alone.
Vis a Vis
Fun and simplicity in its purest form, but with a palate that will leave us surprised and excited at the same time. With only 5.5 degrees of alcohol, Vis a Vis offers us sparkle and freshness thanks to the carbonic obtained naturally and present in the mouth, which together with the residual sugar present in the wine as it has not been transformed into alcohol, will show us a fun and addictive.
