Rosé wine from Castilla y León with grapes from vineyards located in the surroundings of the Valladolid municipalities of Cubillas de Santa Marta, Trigueros del Valle, Mucientes and Cigales. Its altitude, between 700 and 750 meters, and the high limestone content of the soil provide minerality and freshness in the wines. The result is “a wine that tastes like wine”.
It is made with Tempranillo and Garnacha reds from vineyards in glass of a certain age. A third white variety almost disappeared is added, which provides the touch and personality sought by Bodegas El Inicio.
The harvest is carried out at the most balanced moment of maturity of all the varieties. The grapes are destemmed and crushed, sending them to a tank for several hours to carry out a light maceration.
Raising the glass we enjoy a strawberry red color with strong blue hues .
The nose is very frank, the mineral aromas are clearly appreciated together with fruity (strawberry) and floral (violet) nuances. Traditional aromas of the old wines of the area but with very present hints of red fruit.
Its mouth is the most representative phase of this wine: mineral, Enveloping and very creamy, with a long but subtle and fun aftertaste that invites you to finish the bottle. The result: a rosé that, according to the criteria of many consumers, “tastes like wine”, without following commercial styles, to drink it fresh and enjoy life.
Optimum serving temperature between 9 and 12 ºC. p >
Gastronomically, the wine is very versatile for pairing, it complements very well with pasta, rice, fish and, why not, with some Castile chops. It is optimal for chatting, drinking in the middle of the afternoon and at any time.
