Elas raised on lees is the albariño that Bodegas El Inicio makes
A round of applause to the Rías Baixas wines, which have achieved a rating of ‘Very good’ in the last corresponding vintage 2019. A note that this year comes somewhat later than usual, due to the coronavirus, but which encourages us to prepare with strength and enthusiasm in the next harvest that we will begin in September.
Most of the Rías Baixas 2019 Albariño whites can now be savored. The same is not the case with the one we make at Bodegas El Inicio, Elas, because it has added a few months of aging on lees to achieve a final result that respects the typical personality of these Galician wines but with an acidity that is below normal for the Albariño variety.
To enjoy an Albariño is to enjoy Galicia whether you are there or not, this wonderful land that discovers its flavor through a glass.
